Madeleine’s Mum – Elmscot Nursery

Madeleine has been at Elmscot for mainly 5 days a week and as a parent when you choose somewhere to send your child it is with a huge amount of trepidation. Sending the most precious of things to people you don’t know, to act as almost surrogate parents is a daunting prospect. One thing that came so quickly at Elmscot was trust. I did, and to this very day, trust all the staff at Elmscot with Madeleine in every way. To make sure she is happy, well looked after, eats well and gets a whole range of activities she is very fortunate to have experienced.

I strongly believe the strides Madeleine has taken and the person she is today is a huge compliment to you as a team.

To thank all the staff as a group may seem a bit empty but without exception every person has been incredible. However it is almost fitting that Katie, her current key worker, will also be her last at Elmscot. With her working pattern I don’t always see her when I pick up Madeleine or drop her off, but that does not mean I don’t owe her a huge debt of gratitude. Madeleine talks about her nearly every day and when she understands she wont be back in her care I think I will have a very sad 3 year old.

Thank you again and wish everyone all the best for the future.
