Elmscot Group employs around 220 staff, primarily in childcare and education. In addition, we have staff for support services such as catering, administration and finance. We also operate our own supply team of temporary childcare staff.

We can offer permanent, temporary, full-time or part-time positions to qualified and unqualified Playworkers and Nursery Practitioners, with a full range of career and training opportunities. We also occasionally have non-childcare positions available.

All prospective employees must be of the highest calibre and be committed to providing outstanding childcare. All members of our team are expected to keep-up to-date by undertaking ongoing training that is provided and ensure that the needs of every individual child are well met. All staff must undergo an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check, receive two satisfactory references and complete a health declaration form. Staff should also be prepared to undertake our mandatory training requirements within the first year of their employment.
