Hale

Welcome to Hale. Ofsted outstanding, finalists or winners of over ten national awards including  nursery of the year, we are recognised as amongst the best nurseries nationally .

Our nursery

Idyllically located amongst fields, our nursery has a calm home from home feel. Ground-floor rooms enjoy free-flow all weather garden access. Our large, recently landscaped garden includes a kitchen garden allotment, fruit trees, wildlife garden, baby area, play equipment from a local craftsman and plenty of space for the children to run.

We Explore

All of our children enjoy weekly trips – from visiting local parks to train rides to China Town, Delamere Forest or Tatton Park. Our vast range of magical experiences broadens children’s understanding of the world and equips them with essential skills for their future learning. Extracurricular activities include yoga, forest school, sports, dance and Moo Music.

Our Community

Established relationships with Hale’s community, library, shops, police, fire brigade and Hale Civic Society enable us to enrich our curriculum with a wealth of experiences. For example, monthly visits to Altrincham United Reform Church’s elderly group builds intergenerational links. We enjoy giving back too, from book and clothes swaps, litter picking and donating to food banks locally, to decorating Hale station’s Christmas tree.

Team

Our team have the breadth of qualifications and experience required to create the awe and wonder that is vital to children’s learning, ensuring school readiness. This includes two Early years teachers, three Level 6 and a Level 5 lead practitioner, NDNA baby, two forest school practitioners and a SENco. A communication champion and two accredited ELSAs promote wellbeing.

Delivering Excellence

With over 200 years combined experience, our established team focus on creating magical experiences, rather than embedding a new team. A smaller company, focused on reinvesting rather than acquisition, we quickly adopt the latest best practice. Based in Hale, Elmscot’s outdoor and early years leads and senior leadership visit regularly, providing support.
