The Elmscot Group prides itself on having high calibre childcare teams, with nearly 50% of staff educated to either graduate or post-graduate level (Level 5 and above), a fact recognised by the Ofsted inspector at Elmscot Day Nursery, “The quality of teaching is consistently of a very high quality. Educational programmes are challenging, inspirational and focused to meet the individual needs and interests of all children. As a result, children are provided with rich, varied and imaginative learning experiences. Children make exceptional progress in their learning and development in this vibrant and welcoming nursery.”

Nursery Manager of Elmscot Day Nursery, Justyna Ogrodniczek says, “I believe that the quality of care and education in the early years is paramount for setting sound foundations for future learning for all children. As a setting we strive to provide the best possible learning experiences and care where each individual child’s learning potential is met to a high standard.”

Elmscot is constantly examining their homely environment and extensive outdoor play areas, reflecting upon how they work and always striving to improve. They welcome partnership with parents and carers as a way to meet their family’s needs successfully. This was recognised by the inspector, who had the opportunity to speak to some parents on the day and in the report stated, “Partnerships with parents, schools and other agencies are excellent. As a result, children’s individual needs are quickly identified and exceptionally well met.”

Ofsted felt that “The management team set high expectations for the quality of the provision, practitioners’ performance and children’s achievements,” and Elmscot feel that this is the exceptional service that any parent would hope for and that all their registered families deserve.
