Chester

Welcome to Chester. Food for life and Millie’s Mark accredited, Nursery World wellbeing and parent partnerships national award finalists, we promote wellbeing and enjoy plenty of time outdoors.

Our nursery

Featuring big open spaces, lots of natural light and contemporary interiors, our nursery has a calm, welcoming feel. Our huge, leafy garden, with an allotment, wild area, outdoor classroom, climbing structures, mud kitchens, and plenty of space to run, enables us to get plenty of fresh air, enriching learning with magical experiences.

We explore

Within walking distance of Hoole, Grosvenor Park and Chester city centre, we benefit from a wealth of learning opportunities. From visiting Grosvenor Park, the canal to watch boats, station to see trains, to Chester’s Storyhouse, it’s museums, cathedral, Roman heritage and library – we love to explore. Extra curricular activities include forest school, yoga, moo music and Kixx.

Our community

Engaging with our local community, we enable children to learn about their world and enhance their sense of belonging. From sourcing activity resources from local shops, such as the greengrocers and pet shops, visiting Chester Lodge Nursing Home, to litter picking and supporting West Cheshire food bank, we enjoy strong community links.

Team

Our team have the breadth of qualifications and experience required to create the awe and wonder that is vital to children’s learning, ensuring school readiness. This includes three Early years teachers, two Level 6 lead practitioners, a qualified SEN, sustainability champion and an accredited ELSA to promote wellbeing.

Delivering Excellence

With over 145 years combined experience, our team have the skills to deliver our inspiring EYFS and enriched curriculum. A smaller company, established for over 20 years, we prioritise reinvestment over acquisition, quickly adopting the latest best practice.
