Laura – Elmscot Woodlands Nursery

Both of my children have attended Woodlands from the age of six months. In each room, my sons have received the very best care and challenge from highly professional, attentive staff. The boys have always been so happy to attend nursery, and the staff get to know the children extremely well and can speak confidently about my child’s day and their learning.
The provision in each room is of an excellent standard- clean, well-maintained play areas and equipment are perfectly matched to the age and stage of the children. We really enjoy receiving pictures and videos of what the children have been doing via app, where this is all linked to the early year’s foundation stage curriculum.
One of my sons has now started reception class at our local primary school, and I cannot recommend Woodlands highly enough for the start they have given him. Not only with knowledge of basic phonics and number, but the skills to get along with his peers, take risks and take care of himself.
The team are wonderful!
