Elmscot Ltd employs over 120 staff, primarily in childcare and education, and also in support services such as catering, administration and finance. We also operate our own Supply Team of temporary childcare staff.

We can offer permanent, temporary, full-time or part-time positions to qualified and unqualified Playworkers and Nursery Practitioners, with a full range of career and training opportunities. We also occasionally have non-childcare positions available.

All prospective employees must be of the highest calibre and be committed to providing outstanding child care. All members of our team are expected to keep up to date by undertaking ongoing provided training and ensure that the needs of every individual child are well met. All staff must undergo an enhanced CRB check, receive two satisfactory refernces and complete a health declaration form. Staff should also be prepared to undertake our mandatory training requirements within the first year of their employment.

27 January 2012: (ongoing) Due to the rapid growth of our new nursery, further positions are becoming available from March 2012 for qualified Nursery Practitioners (L3) at Hale Day Nursery and Nursery School in Hale. 27 January 2012 (for immediate start): Deputy Club Leader, School's Out, Altrincham area, requires a L3 qualified PLAYWORKER or CHILDCARER to join our team of friendly professional staff, reporting to the Club Leader and supported by a Group Management team. Hours available between 7.30-9am and 3-6.30pm, term-time only, on various days at different primary schools, so we can be flexible to fit in with you.

Ongoing: SUPPLY TEAM POSITIONS (may lead to permanent positon) - Playworkers and Nursery Practitioners are always required by both nurseries and School's Out to join their supply team caring for children aged 0-8 years. Although qualified (L2 & L3) candidates are preferred, unqualified candidates are welcome as all training is provided. You could even gain a qualification whilst working as we also provide funding support!
