Elmscot Ltd employs over 120 staff, primarily in childcare and education, and also in support services such as catering, administration and finance. We also operate our own Supply Team of temporary childcare staff.

All prospective employees must be of the highest calibre and be committed to providing outstanding child care. All members of our team are expected to keep up to date by undertaking ongoing provided training and ensure that the needs of every individual child are well met. All staff must undergo an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check, receive two satisfactory refernces and complete a health declaration form. Staff should also be prepared to undertake our mandatory training requirements within the first year of their employment.

CURRENT NURSERY & SCHOOL'S OUT VACANCIES
13 May 2013: Nursery Practitioner required at Hale Day Nursery. This is a permanent, full time post (40 hrs/week), for an immediate start. Candidates should ideally be qualified to NVQ L3, be dynamic and motivated to provide exceptional childcare. 13 May 2013: a Playworker (ideally qualified but unqualified candidates willing to qualify considered) is required by School's Out for before and after school sessions at Cloverlea Primary School, Timperley. This is a permanent position, part-time (20hrs/wk). Different applicants could cover different sessions so this vacancy could suit multiple applicants wanting only a few hours/week. 1 March 2013: Deputy Club Leader required by School's Out @ Altrincham Preparatory School for boys, Bowdon Must be qualified to at least NVQ L3. This is an after-school only role caring for boys aged 3-11years, but extended working hours may be available at other School's Out Clubs or at Elmscot, Woodlands or Hale Day Nurseries if required. 21 January 2013: New permanent 'Flexi-worker' childcare jobs to be created for the Elmscot Group. Childcare practitioners qualified to NVQ L3+ are required to join our teams as permanent 'cover staff'. Each role is 40hrs/week, but each post could be a job-share. Based at either Elmscot or Woodlands in Timperley or Hale Day Nursery, these posts require the candidates to be flexible and able to work at any Elmscot nursery or School’s Out out-of-School Club as required. The candidates must have their own transport and all mileage expenses between sites will be paid. Our rates of pay are higher than average and this role would allow candidates to gain a broad range of experience. Ongoing: SUPPLY TEAM POSITIONS (may lead to permanent positon) - Playworkers and Nursery Practitioners are always required by both nurseries and School's Out to join their supply team caring for children aged 0-8 years.
