To all of you amazingly dedicated, enthusiastic and caring staff at Woodlands. Thank you so much for each of your creative energetic education and love. The teams have been fabulous at helping Petra make the transition from baby days to toddlerdom. All of their efforts have been rewarded by Petra becoming the happy confident little girl that she is today. We couldn’t have wished for a better start to Petra’s nursery days and are very happy that we chose Elmscot. Thank you for everything.

We have seen a big step forward in Hannah's imaginative play in the last few months and her ability to count objects has also improved. We already work on numbers with Hannah at home but will also concentrate on shapes and some additional letters work to build on the good work the preschool team are doing.

Ella loves and gets so much from the range of activities on offer. Her confidence and understanding of the world has gone from strength to strength during her time there. Thank you for all your hard work and for making Ella feel so safe secure and nurtured as she has explored the world and her relationships with peers over the last 7 months, she will miss you all and we will all be sad to say goodbye.

Dear all,
My daughter Millie attends Bowdon Church School Breakfast and After school clubs on a full time basis. As a parent who works full time we often feel guilty about sending our children to clubs to facilitate our working life. However I have to say that we are absolutely delighted with School's Out. Millie is always actively engaged in many varied activities. When I rush to pick her up early she is always disappointed and wants to stay at the club, which is testament to all the staff. So we would like to pass on our thanks. It is comforting to know that she enjoys it so much!
Kind Regards
Caroline and Simon

In case we don't speak again I would like to thank you for the excellent care that Ollie has received whilst at Woodlands. He has been really happy there and we're are so sad that he has to leave. The staff have been wonderful and I think employing a male carer in Liam has been fantastic as a role model for the boys, the children seem to love him. If we have any more children we would definitely be requesting a place at Woodlands and I would be happy to recommend the nursery to others. I will of course pass on my thanks to Julie and her team closer to Ollie's finish date. It has been very comforting to know that whilst working full time my child has been so well cared for and educated. His knowledge, language and skills, both physical and social, constantly amaze us and I think that nursery has played a huge part in his development.Best Wishes, Philippa

My girls really enjoyed School's Out last week. They were well looked after by staff and the older children. They really enjoyed the variety of activities. There was plenty of opportunity for them to relax when they felt tired also. Are you taking bookings for Summer yet?

I would like to take this opportunity to say how pleased I am with the staff especially Wendy and Katie <at Well Green School's Out Club>. They both are very caring and helpful and Theo seems to love coming. My friends at the nursery tell me how well looked after Theo is when they see him being dropped off too. Also I am pleased with the introduction of the new tea menu straight after school as it is when Theo seems to be hungry and previously it was hard to get him to eat by the time we get home.

As we were pulling down our Christmas decorations and getting ready to return to work this week we asked Scarlett what her favourite thing at Christmas was. Bearing in mind we had hosted a big Christening celebration for her brother, visited Santa in "Lapland" by train and spent a week away on holiday in addition to the pile of gifts she received from Santa, we wondered what she might say. Her reply was "being an angel in the Christmas show" that was 3 weeks earlier at Woodlands. High praise indeed! There had clearly been lots of effort put into the rehearsals and it comes as no surprise that you achieved level 3 in the NDNA quality assessment.
Well done everyone & Happy New Year.

Dear Elmscot,
Well, it's the end of an era!
School days are meant to be the best years of your life but I think Cate's and Grace's nursery years will turn out to be theirs.
I can't thank you enough and your staff for the wonderful job you all do - you are a credit to your industry.
Hopefully Cate will go on to enjoy school as much as she has enjoyed her time with you.

Oliver really misses Woodlands and he's always wanting to go back to see Catherine and Saeeda. This reflects how much he enjoyed himself.
Oliver said 'I enjoyed playing in the big garden, threading and learning with Mrs Lenihan. It was so much fun! The chilli was my favourite food - much better than yours mum! I miss Catherine and Ewan the most.'
A big thank you from the Celery's for everything.

Can I take this opportunity to thank both you and all your staff for providing Megan with a terrific learning environment and for the continued care and support we have both received from them during her 18 months in their care. I know Megan has thoroughly enjoyed her time at Woodlands and will be extremley sad to leave. A special big thanks to Saeeda and Catherine in Pre-school who have prepared Megan for her next journey to ''Big'' school and dealing with her non-superstar days! lol!

The staff are excellent; food, activities are all well above what you find in other nurseries (having tried some!). They think outside the box. Best of all is their ability to provide a loving, caring environment where my children can grow.

Latest News 10 Jan 2008 - many children attending School's Out After School Clubs entered the 2007 afterschoolclub.net Competition 'When I grow up I want to be...' where children were asked to draw a picture of what they would like to be when they grow up. The best entries were selected for publication in a book on 30th April 2008. This was a national competition and 14 children from School's Out had their pictures selected for publication! All children who entered received a sticker sheet and a big WELL DONE to everyone who took part! We can't wait to see the pictures in print!

Well done to all the team, please do pass on our thanks.
